Prof David Roxby is an Associate Professor in the College of Medicine and Public Health, at Flinders University and an Emeritus Senior Medical Scientist at SA Pathology.
His areas of interest include the interface between the laboratory and clinical practice, improvement in transfusion practices, critical bleeding and massive transfusion and the safe and appropriate use of blood and blood products.

Dr Klaus Goerlinger has worked for 26 years as a Senior Consultant for Anaesthesiology, Intensive Care and Emergency Medicine, and Haemostaseology at the Department of Anaesthesiology and Intensive Care Medicine, University Hospital Essen, Germany.
Furthermore, he worked in the Scientific Committees of the German Intensive Care Society and the European Society of Anaesthesiology and is one of the authors of the ESA Guidelines on the management of severe perioperative bleeding
