About the Event

During the webinar, the authors' Dan Ellis and Matthew Hooper will discuss a few cases with respect to recognising and responding to critical illness in prehospital and retrieval settings from their book titled "Cases in Pre-Hospital and Retrieval Medicine".

The cases presented will likely cover a range of medical emergencies commonly encountered in pre-hospital and retrieval medicine, such as trauma, cardiac emergencies, respiratory distress, neurological conditions, and more.

By analysing these cases, participants can enhance their clinical skills, decision-making abilities, and understanding of the unique challenges faced when providing medical care outside of the traditional hospital setting. The webinar will involve discussions on initial assessments, treatment strategies, communication and coordination, and the use of available resources in these situations.
